Age
Requirements
All competitors must be at least 14 years of age. If an athlete
is under 18 years of age on Race Day, a Parent or Guardian will
be required to attend Saturday Packet Pickup and sign the Acknowledgment
Waiver and Release from Liability Form.
Race
Applications
Entry Forms received without funds will not be processed until payment
is received. A race quota has been established to insure participants’
safety.
Entries will be accepted until Wednesday, August 2, 2012 at noon.,
or until a maximum number of entries are reached, whichever comes
first.
Each member of a relay team must complete an entry form. Team entry
forms will not be processed until all forms and the team entry fee
is received by the Triathlon Office.
Entry Fees (no refunds - no transfer) (if the swim is canceled,
there will be no refunds)
Individual $75.00 -- After July 1, 2012 -- $100
Relay Team - Total $125.00 -- After July 1, 2012 -- $150
Aqua Bike Total $55.00 -- After July 1, 2012 -- $75

Packet
Pick-Up
Teams - each member MUST pick up his/her Race Packet on Saturday.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
Registration/race packet pick-up is on Saturday, August 4, 2012
at the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Campus in Lehman, PA, between the
hours of Noon and 6pm. Every athlete
must appear in person and show a valid ID to
pick up race packet. No one will
be allowed to register or pick up a race packet on Race Day or at
Swim check in.
All Bikes with provided race number must be racked in the transition
area at Harvey’s Lake by 7:00pm, Saturday, August 4, 2012.
(The transition area is locked and guarded overnight.)
Competitors MUST
wear an ANSI or Sell approved helmet.
All Age Group and Team competitors
MUST attend the Pre-Race Meeting:
Saturday, August 4, 2012, Penn State-Wilkes-Barre University Athletic
Center at 3:30pm.
******PLEASE NOTE - This year's race starts at 7:30 a.m.******
Food
Arrangements have been made with several vendors to offer food and
beverages for athletes and spectators. Look for them throughout
the Expo area on Saturday and Sunday.
Elite
Athletes
Registration and Packet pick-up procedures apply to all Elite Athletes.
Home stays are available for elite athletes, if necessary, including
transportation to and from our local airports.
Awards
Male and Female - Age Group Awards - 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34,
35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. First through
third in every division.
First through third, male and female overall age group divisions;
first through third, male, female and mixed relay teams; first place
Corporate relay team; Clydesdale top 3, Athena top 3.
USA
Triathlon Membership
For insurance purposes, each participant must have proof of current
USA TRIATHLON MEMBERSHIP @ packet pick-up. A one day license will
be available at registration. For more information regarding USA

Course Responsibility
In accordance will USA Triathlon Rules, all participants are responsible for knowing the course. Please print the maps we have available under COURSES to learn the layout for the swim, bike and run courses of our race.
